Mary Lindsay-Barber, MD, values communication. However, she enjoys the challenge when communication is more difficult, as it can be with infants who can't talk or teenagers who won't. For more than 25 years, she has been serving children of all ages because of how much she enjoys watching children grow and the variety of challenges and joys. Dr. Lindsay-Barber's commitment to remarkable care has been recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as a physician of the year. She has been married to her college sweetheart, Shedrick Barber, for longer than she's been a pediatrician. They have a grown son and daughter who they see whenever they have the chance. Together they love traveling or watching movies when staying closer to home.
